Orthodontics

Treatment of malocclusion in children and adults with removable and fixed appliances, including cosmetic appliances. The selection of braces for a given malocclusion will be decided by the orthodontist during the initial visit. In order to speed up the diagnostic process, it is possible to come to the first visit at once with a PANTOMOGRAPHIC photo of the jaws, which is usually sufficient to evaluate the hard tissues of the oral cavity.

In some cases, however, the doctor will ask for a CEFALOMETRY PHOTOGRAPH of the skull to allow precise measurements and analysis of the patient’s occlusal conditions. Correction of occlusion can be carried out at any age. In adults (with completed skeletal development) this process usually takes longer than in children, but it usually does not exceed 24 months, allowing satisfactory cosmetic and functional results to be achieved.
